Keltie THOMAS,
Bear Rescue: Changing the Future for Endangered wildlife(Firefly Animal Rescue Series)
Firefly Books, 2006

Rating: E

How big is a grizzly bear? How many bear species are there? Why are they in danger? These are a few of the questions that are answered by this book, which examines the history between these endangered animals and their main predators: humans. Different types of bears are described, along with details of recent conservation efforts, and the people involved in those efforts. The pictures throughout the book are wonderful - especially one of a grizzly out for a swim. The index and fast-facts section are especially helpful and include addresses of organizations dedicated to helping save these endangered animals. Overall, a very well-presented and informative book
