the listserv is great: there is no better place
on the web for a serious and informed discussion about children's
books in the United States

Tell me more
|
- The Collection hosted by CCBC comprises current
children's and young adults' books, historical children's books,
and reference material;
- CCBC also offers specialized reference assistance
in person or over the phone;
- If you don't live nearby, check out the CCBC website,
with a Virtual Resources Collection that provides links
to websites focused on children's literature, the children's
book industry, multicultural literature, authors and illustrators;
- Since 1997, the Book
of the Week page has offered readers one book review
per week - and it's become quite a resource! We are lucky enough
to have been granted permission to reproduce some of these fine
reviews on PaperTigers - take a look at the Book
Reviews section to read them;
- CCBC-Net listserv is an excellent electronic forum
to discuss children's and young adults' books; topics change
very often, and there are always thoughtful and well-informed
opinions from the participants.
