Vicky Metcalf Award for Children's Literature — Canada

  What is it?

The Vicky Metcalf Award for Children's Literature is awarded annually to a Canadian writer (citizen or landed immigrant) who has produced a body of work that demonstrates the highest literary standards.

  PaperTigers says...

… as well as recognizing the substantial and lasting contributions made by authors with a body of work that demonstrates consistent quality, this award helps raise the profile of Canadian children's literature, both at home and abroad.
