is it? |
The TD Canadian Children's Literature Award, established in 2004 by the Canadian Children's Book Centre (CCBC) and sponsored by the TD Bank Financial Group, is an annual award that will be given for the first time in November 2005 to the most distinguished Canadian children's book of the year.

- This is, to date, the richest prize to be awarded in Canada for children's writing.
- The award is divided into two categories: English and French. All genres of children's books that are written for ages up to 13 are eligible, provided they were written by a Canadian and first published in Canada.
- Award to be presented yearly as part of the Canadian
Children's Book Week, organized by CCBC, along with the TD Literacy Advocacy Award.
