- Founded in 2000 by Deborah Capone, As Simple As That was designed to appeal to all families with children between the ages of 3 and 8.
- Through its appealing books and enlightened characters and educational resources, As Simple As That teaches children to respect their own and others' uniqueness, while understanding the ways in which they are similar to children of other races and heritages.
- The "Resources" section includes reviews of books for kids and for their parents, and links to other multicultural web-related resources and organizations.
